Job summary

GARAGE is seeking a Store Manager to lead a high-performing team and promote a positive shopping experience in our store. You will drive sales, coach staff, and maximize profitability while maintaining excellent standards.

Reporting to the District Manager, you will recruit, train, and motivate employees, schedule flexibly, and ensure smooth store operations, including weekends and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline is an asset.
• 3-5 years of management experience in fashion or related environment.
• Customer-oriented with passion for fashion and strong leadership abilities.
• Ability to recruit, train, and coach team members for high performance.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

The Role:

Reporting to the District Manager your main focus as Store Manager is to promote a positive shopping experience and build loyal customer relationships. You produce outstanding business results by leading and inspiring a high performing team to drive operational efficiency and excellent standards. You demonstrate great leadership through recruiting, training, and coaching your team members. You maximize the store’s profitability by achieving and surpassing sales and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset
• 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment, or equivalent management experience
• Has passion for fashion & is customer-oriented
• Demonstrates solving skills and decision making abilities
• Demonstrate the ability to promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity and learning by sharing best practices and building on the ideas of others
• Demonstrate flexibility, innovation and sense of urgency in identifying and reacting to the changing business environment by contributing impactful ideas and solutions
• Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills
• Build partnerships and prioritize collaboration
