You will gather and analyze claim information, determine coverage, and negotiate cost‑effective outcomes while maintaining exceptional customer service. A bachelor’s degree or insurance designations are preferred, with licensing or progress toward licensing within 120 days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years adjudicating commercial garage claims.
• Bachelor’s degree or 2 insurance designations.
• Licensed Claims Examiner or able to obtain within 120 days of hire.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate high‑technical complexity Garage Property Damage claims within authority limits.
• Resolve non‑complex issues requiring a broader set of knowledge.
• Gather, analyze, and investigate claim information to find solutions.
• Report claims trends and developments to senior management and underwriters.
• Identify loss drivers and trends to reduce claims frequency and severity through data analysis.
• Determine coverage by analyzing claims forms, policies, endorsements, client instructions, and other records.
• Investigate claims promptly, including interviewing all parties.
• Manage litigation claims, diary tasks, reserves, and resource coordination.
• Prepare file documentation and reports.
• Apply creative solutions for the best financial outcome.
• Negotiate cost‑effective solutions within limits.
• Process mail and prioritize workload.
• Maintain strong claim management passion and customer focus.
