The Spirit of the Position :

The Garage Porter / Ambassador is responsible for ensuring garages and surface lots are maintained and cleanedon a daily basis. Interface with customers, handle disputes, provide effectivecommunication between departments, co-workers, customers and clients.

Principal Job Duties :

• Ensure garages and surfacelots are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis.
• Responsible for generalmaintenance of the garage and surface lots - sweeping, wiping down surfaces andequipment, emptying trash, picking up trash, changing light bulbs, paintingetc.
• Assist with snow removaland management of winter upkeep (managing sidewalks and garages).
• Responsible for ensuringall daily duties on maintenance checklist are completed efficiently and timely.
• Greet customers using name,be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, anddisplay a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base.
• Provide vehicle assistanceto customers in garages and surface lots.
• Assist customers as neededin lobbies, lanes, and in the parking office.
• Promote good customerrelations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with afriendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
• Perform cashiering dutiesafter the morning cashier is off shift.
• Perform other duties asassigned.
• Monitor supplies; inform managementof shortages in supplies.
• Maintain clean and safeenvironment in the storage area.
• Report to MOD on a dailybasis.

Education :

• High school diploma or GEDpreferred but not required.

Experience :

• Experience with generalfacility maintenance required.
• Experience with cashhandling required.
• Experience in customerrelations.
• Parking industry experienceis preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver's LicenseRequired

• Ability to work inelements-heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to apply pressureto an object with the fingers and palm frequently.
• Ability to perform allfunctions that require repetitive motions using hands, wrist, arms, kneesand / or legs.
• Ability to express orexchange information, instructions, ideas, etc. by means of the spoken word.
• Ability to receive detailedinformation through oral communication and to make the discrimination in sound.
