Use power and hand tools, troubleshoot issues, and complete service tickets as needed. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, good communication, and a reliable driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble garage doors, overhead doors, and openers according to sales orders, guidelines, and specs.
• Ensure all parts needed for jobs are loaded on vehicle prior to departure.
• Take accurate measurements and assess installation sites for proper fit.
• Provide professional customer service and address inquiries promptly.
• Perform post-install checks, lubricate moving parts, adjust springs, tighten hardware.
• Safely operate power and hand tools required for installations.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and warehouse duties as needed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
• Complete paperwork (job orders, installation reports, service tickets) promptly.

JOB OVERVIEW:

As a Garage/Overhead Door Installer, you will be responsible for installing a variety of overhead doors for residential and commercial properties. Your primary goal will be to ensure safe, efficient, and functional entry systems for our customers. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent technical and mechanical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install and assemble garage doors, overhead doors, and openers according to sales orders, manufacturer's
  guidelines, industry standards, and customer specifications
• Ensure that all products and parts needed for scheduled jobs are accounted for and loaded on vehicle prior
  for departure to job site
  
• Conduct accurate measurements and assessments of installation sites to ensure proper fit and functioning
  of the garage doors
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional
  and timely manner
  
• Perform post-installation checks on garage doors, including lubricating moving parts, adjusting springs, and
  tightening hardware
• Remove and dispose of existing doors, when needed.
• Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and equipment necessary for installations and repairs
• Help with unloading of deliveries and other warehouse activities, as needed
• Adhere to safety guidelines and always maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Complete necessary paperwork, such as job orders, installation reports, and service tickets, accurately and
  promptly
