Markare Services is a reputable and growing tractor/trailer maintenance and repair facility looking to hire a Garage Manager for our Buffalo, WV location. Driven to lead a team of mechanics to uphold our core purpose of providing the highest quality of repairs and preventative maintenance that goes above and beyond industry standards. Markare Services provides a cafeteria style benefit package which allows employees to select only the coverages that will work best for themselves or their families. Our Garage Managers are responsible for, but not limited to:

· Adhering to safety standards of employees and equipment

· Handling the recall process of parts

· Assigning work to mechanics

· Communicating with operations and customers to ensure equipment is available as needed.

· Training mechanics in current and new technology

· Ensuring the highest quality of work performed by mechanics

· Participate in developing, tracking, and reporting processes for current and future projects

· Assist with assets management, inventory, warrantees and special projects

· Provide reports to directors as necessary

Knowledge and Skills Required:

· 5 years hands on diesel maintenance and repair

· Knowledge of industry standard tools

· Leadership and management skills

· Knowledge of DOT maintenance standards
