Job Summary Details:

The Garage Maintenance position is responsible for the upkeep of the assigned area. Duties include, but are not limited to, pulling trash, cleaning elevators and lobbies, entrances, and ensuring the garage is litter-free. The role also involves removing cobwebs, cleaning signs, shutters, stairwells, and performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Additionally, the Garage Maintenance responds to safety hazards and reports supplies inventory to the supervisor. Flexibility and willingness to complete all assigned tasks are essential.

Pay: $18.38/hour. The listed pay is the hourly rate for this position. Actual offers may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, location, and market data.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No experience required; on-the-job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customer service experience
  • One year of similar work experience
Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain buildings and facilities
  • Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
  • Report repair needs to the manager
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and team members
  • Comply with safety, security, and quality standards
  • Clean furniture, fixtures, floors, walls, and equipment
  • Move furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning
  • Clean interior glass, windows, and mirrors
  • Wash and replace blinds
  • Empty trash and perform seasonal outdoor tasks like raking leaves and snow removal
  • Wipe down food service areas and service restrooms
