Job summary

Precision Garage Door Service is seeking a Service Technician to repair and install garage door components at customers’ locations. You will diagnose issues, provide clear explanations of options, and perform high-quality service with safety in mind.

During 90-day training you’ll receive base pay, then commissions on work completed. Expect earnings between $60,000 and $100,000 per year, with a company-provided vehicle and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work in heat/cold, outdoors and in garages without climate control.
• Must be able to use a computer/tablet.

Responsibilities

• Repair and install garage door parts and equipment on-site.
• Diagnose and repair garage doors, door operators, worn parts, and springs.
• Educate customers on options to repair issues and prevent future ones.
• Sell services using a good/better/best model and collect payments.
• Manage inventory in the vehicle to support service calls.
