Guild Garage Group LLC in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Garage Door Technician. This role starts with paid training at $24 per hour and offers a clear path to a performance-based compensation model with earning potential of $100,000+ annually.

As part of a family-run company, you’ll install, repair, and maintain garage doors for residential and commercial clients. Training provided, with opportunities for career growth and leadership as you develop skills and performance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift at least 75 pounds and work on ladders.
Garage door installation or repair experience is preferred but not required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial garage doors and related equipment.
Inspect systems, diagnose problems, and recommend safe, effective solutions.
Explain repair and replacement options clearly so customers can decide.
Deliver friendly, professional service during every customer interaction.
Complete accurate job documentation, including notes, photos, and diagrams.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and fellow technicians.
Develop technical, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.
