Entry Systems Garage Doors & Gates is seeking an experienced installer or skilled tradesperson to build a long‑term career in the garage door industry. Training is provided, and the role offers full‑time W‑2 employment with paid garage door training.

Start at $20/hr during training, moving to $25–$30/hr after completion, plus bonuses and benefits. The position requires hands‑on installation, construction, or maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a solid work history.

Responsibilities

• Install residential garage doors and related equipment.
• Work with another installer on larger installations.

• Load, transport, assemble, install, and adjust garage door equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Perform garage door service and other field work when installations are not scheduled.
• Interact professionally with homeowners and customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work area.

Entry Systems is looking for an experienced installer or skilled tradesperson who wants to build a long-term career in the garage door industry.

Garage door experience is NOT required. We are specifically interested in candidates who already have professional hands‑on experience in installation, construction, maintenance, repair, or another skilled trade. We will provide paid training to teach you the garage door industry.

This could be a great fit if you have experience with:

• Window or door installation
• HVAC installation or service
• Appliance installation or repair
• Electrical or low‑voltage work
• Carpentry or cabinetry
• Construction or remodeling
• Fence or gate installation
• Solar installation
• Property or facilities maintenance
• Other professional mechanical or installation work

What You'll Do

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional installation, construction, repair, maintenance, or skilled‑trade experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
• Stable and consistent work history
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent full‑time schedule
• Able to perform physical installation work, including safely lifting up to 75 lbs
• Comfortable working from ladders and performing hands‑on field work
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Professional appearance and communication skills
• Comfortable interacting with customers in their homes
• Able to work independently and as part of a two‑person installation team
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (5+ years)
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Interested in a long‑term career, not temporary or short‑term employment

Garage door experience is not required. We will train the right experienced tradesperson.
