Job summary

Entry Systems is seeking an experienced installer or skilled tradesperson to build a long-term career in the garage door industry. No prior garage door experience is required as paid training will be provided.

You will install residential garage doors, partner on larger projects, and use hand and power tools daily while delivering professional service to homeowners in the Orange County area. We offer structured training and clear paths for advancement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional installation, construction, repair, maintenance, or skilled-trade experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Stable and consistent work history.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent full-time schedule.
• Able to perform physical installation work, including safely lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable working from ladders and performing hands-on field work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with customers in their homes.
• Able to work independently and as part of a two-person installation team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (5+ years).
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Interested in a long-term career, not temporary or short-term employment.

Responsibilities

• Install residential garage doors and related equipment.
• Work with another installer on larger installations.
• Use hand and power tools throughout the workday.
• Load, transport, assemble, install, and adjust garage door equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Perform garage door service and other field work when installations are not scheduled.
• Interact professionally with homeowners and customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work area.
