Job summary

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products seeking a hands-on Warehouse Associate to support installation at customers’ homes and on jobsites. You will work indoors and outdoors, verify orders, and help maintain inventory.

A valid driver’s license, forklift experience, and a safety-first mindset are essential. Spanish bilingual preferred. You will load and unload materials, use hand tools, and help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient job site.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Garage door installation knowledge is a plus.
• Experience operating forklift and other equipment (scissor lifts, drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers).
• Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work indoors and outdoors providing service and installation to customers at homes and jobsites.
• Verify order contents and maintain documentation.
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory.
• Demonstrate daily safety and wear PPE.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.

What you’ll do:

• Work closely with teammates to provide excellent service and installation to our customers in their homes and on their jobsites.
• Work both indoors and outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions.
• Verify order contents and maintain documentation (pick tickets, inventory count sheets).
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory.
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE.
• Preserve safe and clean work environment by sweeping, cleaning, and organizing all areas.

What you’ll bring:

• A valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation to work sites.
• Knowledge of garage door installation experience a plus.
• Experience operating forklift and other equipment including scissor lifts, and hand tools including drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred.
• Ability to load and unload heavy material on/off truck, and to extend arms above head for prolonged periods of time during garage door installations.
• Commitment to providing an outstanding experience to customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective verbal and written communication and a “customer first” mindset.
