Job summary

QXO seeks a hands-on installer to deliver top‑notch service for customers in their homes and on job sites. You’ll work indoors and outdoors, verify orders, and keep inventory organized while following safety protocols and PPE guidelines.

You will handle heavy materials, operate lifts and tools, and communicate clearly with customers, vendors, and teammates to ensure a superior experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation to work sites.
• Garage door installation experience is a plus.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred.
• Ability to load and unload heavy material and extend arms above head during installations.
• Commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service and installation to customers in homes and on jobsites.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Verify order contents and maintain documentation (pick tickets, inventory count sheets).
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory; adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Preserve a safe and clean work environment by cleaning and organizing all areas.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with teammates to provide excellent service and installation to our customers in their homes and on their jobsites. - Work both indoors and outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions - Verify order contents and maintain documentation (pick tickets, inventory count sheets) - Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory. - Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE - Preserve safe and clean work environment by sweeping, cleaning, and organizing all areas.

What You’ll Bring

• A valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation to work sites. - Knowledge of garage door installation experience a plus - Experience operating forklift and other equipment including scissor lifts, and hand tools including drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers. - Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred. - Ability to load and unload heavy material on/off truck, and to extend arms above head for prolonged periods of time during garage door installations. - Commitment to providing an outstanding experience to customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective verbal and written communication and a “customer first” mindset
