Job Summary

Sherman Buildings is seeking a reliable and skilled Garage Door installer to join our in‑house team.

This role is responsible for the installation, service, and repair of residential and light commercial garage doors and related components. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, follows safety standards, and represents the company professionally on job sites throughout the Mora and Floodwood areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install residential and light commercial garage doors, openers, tracks, springs, and hardware
  • Perform repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance on existing garage door systems
  • Ensure all installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and safety regulations
  • Safely handle tools, equipment, ladders, and power tools required for installation
  • Accurately measure openings and verify materials prior to installation
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and customers as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site
  • Complete required paperwork, job documentation, and time tracking
  • Represent Sherman Buildings in a professional, courteous manner at all times
Qualifications

Work Environment & Schedule

Work is performed at residential and commercial job sites in Mora, Floodwood, and surrounding areas. This is a full‑time, year‑round position. Occasional overtime may be required based on workload and project schedules.
