Job summary

Mr. Spring Garage Doors in Minnesota is seeking an entry-level installer who can learn a skilled trade with our in-house training. You’ll install and upgrade residential garage doors and smart openers, diagnose simple issues, and work directly with homeowners from initial walkthrough to payment processing.

You’ll need a valid driver’s license, physical stamina, reliability, and a constructive attitude. We offer paid training, a company truck, and opportunities to advance as we grow.

A Day in the Life of a Mr. Spring Installer

• Install & Upgrade: Fit brand-new, high-quality garage doors and smart opener systems for residential clients.
• Problem Solve: Diagnose mechanical issues, replace worn parts (springs, cables, sections), and test equipment.
• Connect with Customers: Guide homeowners through their new equipment, recommend upgrades, and handle payments.
• Be Meticulous: Take pride in clean wiring, precise alignments, and leaving the job site cleaner than you found it.

What We're Looking For

• Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable using standard hand and power tools (drills, hammers, tape measures).
• Physical Grit: Able to safely lift and carry 75+ pounds, stand on ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
• People Skills: Polite, respectful, and genuinely enjoy helping customers solve problems.
• A Clean Driving Record: A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required to drive company trucks.
• Reliability: Show up on time, take pride in your work, and be willing to work flexible hours including weekends/evenings.
• The Basics: High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred; must pass a pre-employment background check.
