Starting pay is $18.00 USD/hour with performance-based potential to earn $25–$30/hour as a piece-rate installer. Training and growth opportunities are available in a supportive shop environment.

As a garage door installer, the job involves heavy lifting, climbing, bending, squatting, and working at heights. Installers regularly lift and carry heavy door panels and use tools to install and secure components. The work requires strength, endurance, and manual dexterity, as well as precision when handling tools. Installers also work in varying weather conditions and tight spaces, often for long hours. Safety awareness is crucial due to the use of high-tension springs and power tools. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
