Position Details

• Schedule: Wed-Sun 4p-12:30a
• Hourly Rate: $16.25/hr
• Requirements: Valid NE Driver's License with 2+ years of driving experience
• Location: Downtown Lincoln

Spirit Of The Position

The Garage Custodian / Cleaner maintains on-street parking equipment to ensure it is in good working order through preventative repairs, housekeeping and janitorial duties, general labor, and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Note and report any safety conditions relating to equipment or the workplace.
• Perform housekeeping duties: sweeping, trash removal, mopping, light bulb replacement, window and fixture cleaning, parking equipment maintenance, elevator track and wall cleaning, curb repainting.
• Walk assigned routes daily to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Paint meter poles, curbs, and equipment as needed.
• Assist with special events and storm response.

Physical Demands

• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
• Bend, stoop, squat, and lift repeatedly during shifts.
• Operate machinery and vehicles.
