Job summary

Parking Concepts, Inc. (PCI) is seeking Parking Attendants / Customer Service Ambassadors to join the team at the San Francisco Medical Center Garage in San Francisco, CA 94115. Roles available are full-time and part-time with a day shift.

Compensation is $24.00 - $26.00 per hour plus fringe benefits. Responsibilities include customer care, safety and traffic control, facility maintenance, and administrative reporting. Pre-employment background check required.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
• Able to stand for extended periods, with mobility to walk, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, kneel, crouch, twist, and push/pull equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with a courteous demeanor and fluent English communication.
• Safely guide moving vehicles and pedestrians; direct traffic as needed.
• Keep the parking area clean, presentable, and organized during the shift.
• Follow schedules and checklists; adapt to facility needs.
• Maintain punctual, professional work ethic.
• Record and report completed tasks accurately.
• Support garage management with other duties as needed.

Essential Job Functions

• Customer Care: Remain alert and proactively assist customers with a courteous demeanor, communicating effectively in fluent English.
• Safety & Traffic Control: Safely guide moving vehicles and pedestrians as they enter and exit the parking areas. Occasionally direct traffic to maintain a smooth flow. (Note: No driving is required, but you must be able to walk and stand for extended periods).
• Facility Maintenance: Ensure the parking lot is kept clean, presentable, and highly organized throughout your shift.
• Operational Excellence: Work independently, following schedules and operational checklists closely while remaining flexible to the facility's needs.
• Professionalism: Maintain a punctual, thorough, and highly professional work ethic.
• Administration: Accurately record and report all completed tasks.
• Team Support: Assist garage management with other job duties as necessary.
