12-hour Rotating Shift (days to nights)
Due to growth at the GT site and ramping up multiple Manufacturing departments, it is vital that we focus on training newer employees and maintaining existing area expertise. No GT Manufacturing production employees are eligible to bid for this position at this time.
The IGIV-C Technician is responsible for the isolation of IgG by processing plasma intermediate paste and performing fundamental tasks within a GMP environment, including cleaning and maintaining the workplace, assembling/disassembling operating equipment per procedures, assisting with process control manipulations, and maintaining records/logs.
Includes buffer prep, zone activities, sterile processing, and purification processing tasks, requiring knowledge of GMP, equipment handling, and process monitoring. Skills needed include basic math, computer skills, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, teamwork, and good judgment.
High School Diploma; Bioworks Certification preferred. Basic math, computer skills, mechanical aptitude, detail orientation, teamwork, and judgment.
Must lift up to 50 lbs, work in rotating shifts, and be vaccinated for hepatitis B. Work environment involves biological, chemical, electrical hazards, noise, cold, confined spaces, heights, and require PPE. Standing, walking, bending, and manual dexterity are essential.
