Job summary

Arrow International, Inc. is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and execute tests across handheld devices and gaming cabinets, ensuring functional, technical, and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with Game/System Development and other Product Development staff to resolve issues efficiently and mentor junior engineers in testing best practices. The role offers a competitive benefits package including performance bonuses, profit sharing, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant SQA work experience.
• Academic and/or working knowledge of Visual Studio.
• Academic and/or work experience with C and/or C++.
• Academic and/or proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of the gaming industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop, hold reviews, and execute test plans and test scripts for new and existing game themes and systems.
• Follow all SQA work instructions daily.
• Submit and track product issues found during testing to ensure resolution.
• Lead software defect scrub meetings and SQA milestone hand-offs with Development.
• Utilize required databases for SQA functions and testing.
• Provide input to weekly project status reports.
• Prepare detailed Completion Reports at project end.
• Interface with Product Development to resolve issues before release.
