Delaware North Gaming is hiring Security Officers for the Orange City Poker Room in Orange City, Florida. The role involves maintaining a safe environment for guests and team members, with responsibilities including verifying IDs, escorts for cash, and reporting violations.

The position offers weekly pay, training, employee discounts, and flexible schedules. Licensure by the State Gaming Commission and a drug test are required; overnight and weekend shifts are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to be licensed by the State Gaming Commission.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor.
• Conduct cash escorts as required.
• Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity.
• Operate a motorized vehicle when necessary.
• Maintain crowd control as required.
• Defuse guest profanity and handle issues or complaints professionally.
