Job summary

Google is seeking a Developer Relations Engineer to collaborate with game developers and engine teams across the Americas, driving integrations on Android devices. You’ll write sample code, engage with forums, and help shape product direction by feeding feedback to product managers.

As a hands‑on advocate for developers, you’ll engage with engineering, marketing, and partnerships teams to improve Google platforms and developer experiences in the gaming ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years in a technical role or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of game development experience with Unity/Unreal/C/C++/C# engines.

Responsibilities

• Work with game developers and game engines in the Americas region to support new product integrations on Android devices.
• Optimize AA/AAA game titles, resolve engineering problems with Google technologies and scale knowledge to improve the gaming ecosystem.
• Advocate for game developers internally and influence Google developer product strategy with cross‑functional teams.
• Drive regular engineering‑focused workshops and meetings with developers to optimize the gaming experience at scale.
