The Louisiana Office of State Police seeks an Auditor for the Gaming Audit Section in East Baton Rouge Parish. You will audit the gaming industry to ensure compliance with statutes and regulations, collaborating with Enforcement and Licensing sections to uphold integrity across gaming operations.

Ideal candidates bring multi-path qualifications in accounting/auditing and may hold CPA/CFE/CIA, CISA or CGAP, with progression potential from Auditor 1–3 based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifikationen

• Three years of accounting or auditing experience, or six years in any field plus 24 semester hours in related subjects.
• Bachelor’s degree with the specified hours or a degree in accounting/auditing or related fields.
• CPA, CFE, CIA, or CISA/CGAP designations are acceptable.

Aufgaben

• Compiles work papers documenting the licensee’s internal controls and audit details.
• Audits schematics for gaming chips, tokens, table layouts, dice and playing cards to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Performs audits of manufacturers, suppliers, casinos, fantasy sports, sportsbooks and internal controls for statutory compliance.
• Interacts with casino representatives to obtain information and inform on Division policies.
• Plans and schedules work to maximize resource efficiency.
• Determines licensee compliance with Administrative Rules, Regulations, and statutes.
