Job summary

Main Event in Olathe, KS is seeking a friendly Games Attendant to greet Guests and help them choose activities. You’ll keep the games clean, stocked, and safe while using technology to assist with fun experiences and prize redemptions.

Previous work is a plus, but a guest-focused attitude and willingness to learn are essential. Expect teamwork, openings/closings, and opportunities to grow with our evolving center.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset and customer service orientation.
• Technically adept and willing to learn new things.
• Teamwork is essential; strong communication with staff and Guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcoming and engaging Guests as an ambassador of FUN.
• Monitor Laser Tag, Mini Golf, Gravity Ropes, Rock Climbing for safety and stock.
• Provide exceptional service creating memorable experiences.
• Assist Guests with questions regarding point redemption.
• Perform minor repairs to games and laser tag vests.
• Report wear and damage to games to Technical Team.
• Perform opening, mid-day or closing duties.

Job Description

At Main Event, our Games Attendants are at the center of the action on our games floor! As a Games Attendant, you are technologically savvy, outgoing, and know how to create FUN memories for our Guests! You are knowledgeable on all of our games and entertainment options and can make recommendations based on a Guest’s interest and needs. You monitor event activities and safety protocols, and you make redemption suggestions so our Guests can take home the best prizes! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

What will you be doing daily?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcoming and engaging with all Guests, all while being an ambassador of FUN!
• Monitoring activities such as Laser Tag, Mini Golf, Gravity Ropes, and Rock Climbing to ensure they are stocked, clean and safe
• Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service
• Making sure the games and Winner’s Choice are clean and stocked
• Assisting Guests with questions regarding point redemption
• Performing minor repairs to games and laser tag vests
• Partnering with the Technical Team to report wear-and-tear and damage to games or equipment (communication is key!)
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties

Position Requirements

• Experience in a similar role a plus, but not required
• Guest focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Savvy with technology and a willingness to learn new things
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends
