Job summary

Walk-On's is seeking a Bartender to join our high-energy bar team. This part-time, non-exempt role focuses on crafting cocktails, pouring beers, and delivering a championship guest experience.

You will welcome guests with energy, verify IDs, follow alcohol laws, keep the bar stocked, handle cash and card transactions, and work with teammates to ensure fast, friendly service during gameday and busy nights.

Qualifications

• Must be of legal drinking age and hold state alcohol service certification.
• Friendly, outgoing, and able to work with guests.
• Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits; cocktails knowledge a plus.
• Ability to stand, move, and lift up to 50 lbs for long shifts.
• Strong communication and guest engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with energy and a winning personality.
• Craft cocktails, pour beers, and mix drinks to keep the celebration going.
• Verify IDs and serve alcohol in compliance with laws.
• Make recommendations on drinks, menu items, and specials.
• Maintain bar organization and stock readiness.
• Handle cash and card transactions quickly and accurately.
• Assist with food service and deliver championship guest experiences.
• Build regulars by remembering names and connections.
• Keep glassware and surfaces clean; ensure bar looks and runs well.
• Support teammates on and off the floor.
