Jake's Unlimited in Mesa, Arizona, is hiring a Game Technician for a full-time position. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair arcade games and related equipment to keep operations running smoothly and safely.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of game technician experience, strong mechanical skills, and comfort with diagnostic tools. Expect weekend and holiday shifts, with employee discounts and a hands-on, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of professional Game Technician or related technical repair experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, or electronic equipment.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair arcade games and related equipment.
• Resolve mechanical, electrical, electronic, and basic computer-related issues.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance to maximize game uptime.
• Troubleshoot components including wiring, sensors, power supplies, motors, displays, card readers, and controls.
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper and safe operation.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop long-term solutions.
• Document repairs, maintenance, and parts needs.
• Maintain parts, tools, supplies, and organized technical workspaces.
• Keep games clean, safe, and guest-ready.
• Assist with game moves, installations, and new equipment setup.
• Respond quickly and professionally to equipment issues during operating hours.
• Support other Maintenance Team projects as needed.

We're looking for an experienced Game Technicianwho enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and working with their hands. This is a hands-on technical role for someone who takes pride in quality work and understands the importance of keeping games operating and guest-ready.

What You'll Do
