The University of Montevallo is seeking a reliable Game Room Attendant for its Student Life department. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling and involves ensuring that the game room remains clean and functional. Applicants must be current students and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. Training will be provided to equip you for your duties.

General Description
Student Life is in search of a reliable, dependable, and trustworthy student to become a Game Room Attendant. Scheduling is flexible and based on availability. Training will be given prior to you working a shift.
1. Report for your shift promptly.
2. Communicate with the Student Life Office when you can’t make your shift at least 24 hours in advance.
3. Notify the Student Life Office when you have exchanged a shift.
4. Turn in punch card after your last shift of the pay period.
5. Notify Student Life Office immediately, either by email or coming to the office, if equipment is damaged, lost/stolen, or not working properly.
6. Ensure all games and equipment from the prior shift have been returned or their location has been identified.
7. Turn off all games and equipment.
8. Maintain a high level of cleanliness for the game room and associated equipment.
9. Make sure equipment is turned off, stored, and/or charging at the appropriate time.
10. Take out trash at the end of each night.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
1. Knowledge of gaming systems is not required but is a plus.
2. Must be punctual.
3. Ability to lift 20 pounds (remove garbage from facility).
4. Good customer skills to interact with Game Room patrons.
5. Ability to perform light housekeeping duties.
