Game Rant is looking for a candidate with extensive familiarity and knowledge about multiple video game genres as well as the gaming industry as a whole. The ideal candidate should both play and follow the news surrounding existing and upcoming video games as well as be available on weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities:

• Weekend and Evening availability
• Expanding news coverage of specific games or subjects
• Editing approximately 50 articles per week, and contributing articles with careful attention paid to the best SEO practices
• Paying high attention to detail for spelling, grammar, image quality, fact-checking and sourcing
• Working under tight deadlines and submitting tasks on time
