Job description

A globally leading subscription gaming service featuring 150+ games with no ads or in-app purchases across mobile, desktop, and immersive platforms. Our catalogue includes major hit titles, offering players incredible breadth and quality.

This role will place you in a highly-energized environment with some of the most hardworking creative individuals in the industry, where you will be inspired to share your experience along with providing extraordinary support for the team. You will also be representing the platform as the face of our gaming service for our game development partners.

Description

In this role, you’ll be partnering directly with top studios to guide game improvements. We’re looking for someone who wields strong game design chops and a data-driven mindset. This role will involve multiple titles and direct collaboration with our amazing developer community, so we’re also looking for highly organized and efficient communicators with external development experience to draw upon.

You’ll also collaborate closely with internal product and content teams, gathering insights to help developers ensure the early moments of their games are delighting our players. With multiple game updates in flight, you will find yourself often juggling competing priorities and conflicting schedules, so maintaining operational certainty while fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders is crucial. Above all, you’re helping to bring game experiences you are proud of to our platforms.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in a product management or other game design-adjacent role in the mobile games space
  • Proven track record of data-backed game design decision-making
  • Intimately familiar with the game development process, including releasing and maintaining products on app store platforms
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; with capacity to move between technical and non-technical audiences
  • Outstanding desktop computer skills and familiarity with standard Project Management tools that include Excel, Airtable, Quip, Keynote, and others

Preferred Qualifications

  • Work experience in the trenches directly on game design features, especially player onboarding flows
  • Uncompromising attention to detail and the ability to track multiple priorities over disparate sources of information
  • Plays games regularly, including mobile games, has opinions on what makes great games and always has a list of pending games to finish
  • Extraordinary interpersonal skills; thrive in highly collaborative projects, effective at building consensus, easily work with creative and business partners, internal and external
  • You possess strong personal management skills in chasing down areas of ambiguity and defining solutions for problems as they are discovered
