Rushdown Studios is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a large-scale game development project. You will work with our team to improve infrastructure reliability, automate cloud resources, and build robust CI/CD pipelines for live-service games.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years of Azure experience, strong scripting skills, and a collaborative, player-focused mindset. This role offers a hybrid schedule (office Tue-Thu in Saratoga Springs, NY) or remote options within the

Qualifications

• 4 years of professional Azure experience.
• Scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Groovy.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of game packaging and deployment requirements.
• Experience with pipelines that compile code.
• Experience monitoring with DataDog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus.
• Ability to debug issues during development.
• Player-first mindset and proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infra for game development and live-service games.
• Deploy infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Promote cloud security and compliance for gaming infra.
• Design and develop CI/CD pipelines for builds and deployments.
• Respond to live support issues for a live-service game.
• Automate development environments to empower multiple teams.
