Job summary

Qualifications

Work Location

This is a hybrid role onsite at our Reno, Nevada or Austin, Texas office 2–3 days per week. We can offer domestic relocation assistance if you do not reside in Reno or Austin.


Qualifications

Education: Associate or bachelor's degree


Experience:



  • 5+ years of professional experience in slot game design or related field.

  • Brings a relevant portfolio that includes multiple projects in the gaming industry.

  • Experience leading cross‑functional teams and collaborating with product managers, strategists, creatives, account managers and content developers (strongly preferred).

  • Real‑money gaming industry experience (strongly preferred).


Preferred Experience: Game math or game design background.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • Knowledge of and passion for land‑based slot games and the casino industry, including current market landscape.

  • Ability to assess current trends in the gaming industry and anticipate potential shifts.

  • Conversational ability to interact with technical game contributors, supported by knowledge of mathematics, engineering and art principles.

  • Knowledge of and experience with various game development workflows and methodologies (preferred).

  • Ability to work with multiple creative and technical disciplines to create games or products.

  • Self‑starter with the ability to work on multiple projects and a willingness to learn.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organisational skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay is one component of IGT’s total rewards programme. Depending on the role, employees may be eligible for bonus or commission opportunities. IGT also offers a comprehensive benefits package, which may include a 401(k) savings plan with company contributions, medical, dental and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, paid time off, tuition reimbursement and other wellness programmes, subject to eligibility requirements. At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including skills, experience, education and geographic location. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $92,900 – $131,000 USD, based on a good‑faith assessment at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary. IGT complies with all applicable pay transparency and compensation laws and collective bargaining agreements where applicable.
