Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Cook to join the Levy at UNM Athletics team for high-volume event environments at UNM facilities in Albuquerque, NM. You will prepare food for football, basketball and other events, handling prep, cooking, portioning and service with HACCP-compliant standards and safe food handling.

Qualifications

• Experience with grills, fryers, ovens, food preparation, knife skills, sanitation and HACCP standards.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays and UNM Athletics events.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with correct portions and temperatures.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat; assists with ordering and receiving.
• Follows HACCP standards and safety procedures; reports maintenance issues as needed.
