Job summary

Proof of the Pudding is seeking Cashiers/Service Attendants for Rice University concessions in Houston, TX. The roles will monitor and assist in operations during home football games and other athletic events, with on-the-job training provided. This seasonal/part-time position requires availability for Rice event days and proximity to Houston.

Ideal candidates are customer-focused, team-oriented and able to work 8–12 hour shifts as needed. Competitive pay is offered with meal per shift benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in food & beverage or stadium settings preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must live within or near Houston, TX and be available for Rice event days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean buffet services according to standards.
• Answer guest questions about menu items, beverages and ingredients.
• Prepare foods and replenish buffet with appropriate inventory.
• Restock outlet with inventory and manage stock.
