Job summary

Littleton Public Schools is seeking a part-time Game and Event Worker to assist during high school and middle school athletic events. You will support ticketing, scoring, concessions, and other duties as assigned by athletic staff.

Candidates should be at least 16 years old, comfortable handling cash and public contact, and available on short notice for various events. The role offers an hourly wage of $20 with fingerprinting fee due upon selection.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years old and experience in cash handling and public contact preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of roles to ensure athletic contests are carried out correctly and efficiently.
• Assignments given by the Athletic Director for high school sports and the Principal for middle school sports.
• Work during a variety of events and jobs including ticket taker, game manager, scorer/announcer, cashier, and concessions.
• Support stadium and school-site events with roles such as finincial manager, press box manager, gate keeper, and chain crew.
• Promote and follow Board of Education policies, build relationships with diverse audiences, and maintain safety.

The Game and Event Worker will assist in a variety of roles to ensure that the athletic contest are carried out correctly and efficiently. The specific duties and responsibilities will be assigned by the Athletic Director for High School sports and the Principal or the designated athletics designee for Middle School Sports.

As a Game and Event Worker you must be:

• Available to workon a part time, as needed basis with short notice of assignemnts


• Be able to work a variety of extracuricular events and a variety of jobs including but not limited to:

Game and Event Worker at Stadium Sites include:

Successful candidate will ideally show many of the following skills and abilities:

• Ability to consistently issue correct change in a quick and efficient manner when applicable


• Ability to responsibly handle cash, checks and credit card receipts


• Ability to count and record cash/checks/credit card receipts at the end of district function


• Ability to maintain confidentiality of revenues, receipts, credit card numbers and any other personal information obtained during the course of a district event.


• Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.


• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
