Sabre Industries is hiring a Kettle Operator for galvanizing in a production setting. The role involves preparing materials, operating cranes, inspecting equipment, and maintaining kettle and zinc levels to meet quality requirements.

We seek candidates with crane and forklift experience, prior galvanizing or manufacturing background, and reliable attendance. This is a full-time, on-site position with strong safety practices and teamwork expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience using cranes required.
• Forklift experience highly desired.
• Galvanizing/manufacturing background preferred.
• English communication required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Regular and timely attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the kettle or pre-treat area for galvanizing.
• Inspect materials prior to galvanizing and monitor settings.
• Operate overhead cranes and handle heavy steel products.
• Inspect lifting equipment before use (forklifts, cranes).
• Maintain kettle temperatures and zinc levels.
• Read work orders to determine tasks and material needs.
• Adhere to housekeeping standards and safety rules.
• Add zinc and alloys to the kettle and pre-treat as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/management.
