Position: Data Analyst (SQL & Power BI)

Our clients are real estate-focused private equity investors, developers, fund managers, brokers, and more. We pride ourselves on our quality, strong communication, and work ethic. The type of transactions we currently work on range from multifamily apartment complexes to large office towers in the United States and European markets, ranging in value from $10 million USD – $200 million+ USD.

Roles & Responsibilities

We seek a talented SQL (Major) and Power BI Analyst to join our team. As an SQL and Power BI Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL queries and Power BI reports to support data-driven decision-making for our clients.

Primary Skills
  • Develop complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, and manipulate data from multiple databases.
  • Optimize SQL queries and database performance for improved efficiency and scalability.
  • Previous work experience involving Spreadsheet Server and Query Designer is preferred.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SQL and Power BI-related issues.
  • Develop and present reports and dashboards to clients and management using Power BI.
  • Utilize SQL for database management and data analysis.
Secondary Skills
  • Good grasp of navigating through monday.com.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment.
  • Foundational knowledge of finance.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Economics, or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in SQL is a must.

Knowledge
  • Proven experience working with SQL databases.
  • Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
  • Strong command of Excel, Power BI, SQL, and VBA.
  • Experience in managing workload, report production, and programs.
  • Basic understanding of private equity, investment risk, and real estate investments.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, with the ability to create reporting tools and dashboards.
Skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to present technical data clearly and concisely.
  • Self-starter with proactive and strategic thinking.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, VBA, PowerPoint, and database systems.
