Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for Per Diem/PRN to support inpatient post-ICU recovery. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver focused therapy for complex cases and document progress according to department policies.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• BLS certification required or to be completed within 90 days of employment.

• Treat patients with complex needs under the supervision of an OT.
• Conduct individual therapy regimens and document progress per department policies.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment during sessions in collaboration with an OT.
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services.
