Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a HS Diploma or GED, can read X Bar and R charts, and understands lab procedures for ISO/TS16949 compliance. Strong communication is needed to coordinate with the Metrology Lab and production teams.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or relevant experience.
• Read and interpret X Bar and R charts.
• Knowledge of lab procedures for ISO/TS16949 compliance.
• Knowledge of gauge requirements.
• Able to calibrate all company and employee gages.
• Able to determine gauge requirements from blueprints and specs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Timely compilations of gage calibrations.
• Coordinate with Metrology Lab for timely calibration.
• Update gage calibration data in the PC following cycles.
• Maintain and repair gage equipment as needed.
• Keep accurate inventory and calibration records with traceability to NIST.
• Suggest new or special gages for unmeasurable items.
• Follow safety rules and OSHA regulations.
