Job summary

TruAdvantage Team in York, PA is seeking a skilled accountant to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for recording all financial transactions, posting to journals and QuickBooks, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, at least 2 years of related experience, strong communication and time-management skills, and familiarity with Excel and GAAP. Compensation is $20–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field.
• At least 2 years of work experience in accounting roles.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Experience with Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems.
• Must be well-versed in GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and post to journals.
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial statements.
• Ensure transactions are recorded properly in all ledgers.
• Oversee payroll so employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
