Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a qualified accounting professional to contribute to GAAP financial statements, attest services, and related projects. You will identify issues, propose improvements, and build strong client relationships while supporting recruitment and internal training efforts.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA eligibility preferred, and experience in professional services. Travel is limited; strong Microsoft Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• Master's Degree or other advanced degree desirable.
• CPA eligible preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process client data for inclusion in GAAP financial statements, agreed upon procedures, and special projects.
• Identify accounting, financial statement, and reporting issues per professional guidelines (GAAP/GAAS/PCAOB).
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements based on client operations and objectives.
• Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with clients to provide superior service.
• Invest in professional development through training sessions and networking events.
• Assist with recruiting activities including campus recruiting and employee referral programs.
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork, positive attitude and high ethical standards.
• Assist on compilation of Schedule of Federal Expenditures for clients.
• Travel is limited but may be required.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
