Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge and practice, including complex financial record keeping and reporting.
• Governmental and fund accounting principles and procedures.
• Internal control methods and related laws and regulations.
• Auditing, verifying, balancing, and reconciling accounting records.
• Student financial aid accounting and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Apply accounting principles to analyze complex accounting problems and prepare clear, accurate financial statements and reports.
• Maintain accounting records and assist with preparation of Legal and GAAP financial reports.
• Communicate technical accounting information to non-accountants inside and outside the unit.
• Develop and maintain complex statistical and management reports.
