Job Summary

Assist with teaching and administrative aspects of the Department of Art programs for 20 hours per week, considered a full‑time graduate assistant. Additional duties may be assigned outside the department as long as they align with the candidate's strengths.

Responsibilities

• Provide 20 hours per week of assistance with teaching and administrative aspects of the Department of Art programs.
• Perform duties outside the Department of Art programs that are compatible with the strengths of the candidate.

Requirements

• *** MUST BE AN ART MAJOR, OTHER MAJORS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED ***
• In good standing with the Graduate School.
• Possess an overall graduate GPA of at least 3.00 for courses completed.
• Must be registered every term of the assistantship.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an area of art and admission to the Graduate School.
• Teaching experience and technology skills preferred but not required.

Salary

$4,000.00 per semester for full‑time assistantship, and $2,666.00 for summer full‑time assistance. Position includes a waiver of tuition for up to six credits per semester.
