Illinois State University in Normal, IL invites applications for a Spring 2027 GA Research position in Geography, Geology and the Environment. Job Summary

Graduate research assistants are generally assigned to individual faculty members to assist with their research, and the majority of the assigned duties are tied to this research. The nature of the assistance varies by discipline and can involve a variety of activities such as:

• Library work
• Proposal writing
• Data gathering
• Data analysis

This position will assist faculty with grant related research.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate

$1,510 monthly stipend

• BS in Geology or related discipline
