Job description

Summary

Licensed Center is Now interviewing for GA Lottery PreK Assistant Teachers. Assistants must be at least 18 and hold a Certificate in Early Childhood Education (CDA, TCC, TCD, Parapro, or Assoc. ECE). Send resume and cover letter. Serious applicants need only apply. Assistant Teachers assist with implementing activities that promote children's social, physical, and intellectual growth. Responsible for the care, hygiene, learning, developmental activities, specialized programs, and redirection of children. Assists Lead Teacher with daily activities as directed. Maintains classroom records, cleanliness, and orderliness-bilingual a Plus. Previous experience is a plus but not required. On-the-job training provided.


Duties

Work closely with the lead teacher to meet the developmental needs of children. Lead learning activities and observe and assess developmental milestones. Be energetic, creative, and fun. Communicate effectively with co-teacher and center director. Establish positive relationships with children and colleagues. Engage in positive interactions.


Requirements

Be 18 years of age or older. Hold an Early Childhood Education credential/degree.
