Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a pathologist for a travel assignment in West Virginia. Work includes general surgical pathology across GI, GU, ENT, breast and lymph nodes, with CT-guided biopsies and cytology. No nights or weekends, 2 weeks per month, Monday–Friday.

Hospital privileges required, paid malpractice, and travel/housing pre-paid. Assignment offers competitive compensation and Weatherby support through a dedicated consultant, with potential for ongoing opportunities through NALTO

• General surgical pathology for GI, GU, ENT, breast, and lymph nodes.
• CT-guided biopsies; gyn and non-gyn cytology.
• Grossing coverage when PA is unavailable.
• 1–2 frozen sections and ROSE per day.

Job description

• 2 weeks per month, Monday - Friday -- no nights or weekends
• 35 - 40 cases per day
• 1 - 2 frozen sections and ROSE per day
• 3 - 5 peripheral blood smears for review daily
• General surgical pathology -- GI, GU, ENT, breast, lymph nodes
• CT guided biopsies; gyn and non-gyn cytology required
• Grossing coverage when PA is unavailable
• Hospital privileges required
