Responsibilities

• Procure and organize data and perform advanced actuarial analysis to support pricing, reserving, and forecasting processes.
• Lead loss ratio forecasting with research, analysis, collaboration, and judgment.
• Support Rate Reviews, Ratemaking, and Actuarial Indications by analyzing price, exposure, losses, policy, and claim data.
• Provide regular estimates of adequate loss and expense reserves.
• Assist Underwriting to identify profitable segments and propose corrective actions to improve profitability.
• Provide support for enterprise risk management, including catastrophe management, economic capital modeling, and IRR studies.
• Develop rating methodologies for existing and new products.
• Provide tools and analysis in support of Underwriting’s pricing decisions with respect to large accounts.
