Job summary

PIH Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support the GI Lab in Los Angeles. This role ensures proper care and maintenance of endoscopes, assists with ERCP and EUS procedures, and coordinates supplies and education for nurses and techs.

The successful candidate will manage instrument repairs, track data related to P.I. plans, and support timely reporting for interpretation by physicians. Experience in endoscopy settings and knowledge of Bravo pH and capsule studies are a plus.

Job description

Responsible for ensuring proper care and maintenance of endoscopes. Responsible for the routine ordering of supplies and maintaining par levels within the department. Performs Bravo pH study and capsule endoscopy and prepares reports related to these procedures for interpretation by M.D. Assists in performing complex ERCP and EUS procedures. Manages repairs and maintenance of endoscopes and acts as a resource for GI Lab technicians. Responsible for collecting data related to P.I. plans. Assists and coordinates the educational calendar for nurses and techs.
