Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Alsip, IL is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician who thrives on precision. You will perform preventative maintenance, read complex prints, and support setup/changeover to keep parts flowing. Expect to work on CNC Mills and Lathes with a strong focus on safety and quality improvements.

You will troubleshoot equipment, apply standard work, and participate in continuous improvement activities such as SMED and 5 Whys, with a 1st or 2nd shift and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC maintenance experience.
• Blueprint literacy; ability to consistently hold tight tolerances.
• Comfort with CNC tooling, CNC programming, G-code, M-code, and setup/changeover.
• Experience on CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC) and CNC Lathe (2–4 axis).

Responsibilities

• Apply standard work to set up machines, run parts, and complete preventive maintenance (PM).
• Inspect, deburr, and perform manual operations; stage and preset tooling for upcoming jobs.
• Identify countermeasures to improve safety, quality, and throughput; participate in SMED, Kaizen, and 5 Whys.
