Job summary

Aviagen is seeking a dedicated coordinator to join the Grower‑Aviagen Partnership (G.A.P.) Team in Oklahoma. The role focuses on coordinating the move and depletion process, maintaining biosafety standards, and building strong relations with contract growers and internal departments.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in a related field or equivalent experience, plus poultry experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • A BS in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Two years of poultry experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Team oriented.
  • Current driver’s license.

  • Coordinate and verify all activities from the beginning of the move/depletion process through the disinfect/shavings process.
  • Foster and strengthen contract grower relations.
  • Build relationships with other departments through daily communications and interactions.
  • Communicate all deadlines clearly to the necessary personnel.
  • Ensure timelines are appropriate and deadlines are met.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Perform daily local travel within the regional production base.
  • Maintain bio-security and health & safety standards.
  • Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor.

Aviagen is a primary poultry breeding company located in several states in the US. We are seeking an outstanding individual to become a part of the G.A.P. Team. The Grower‑Aviagen Partnership (G.A.P.) Team has been created to facilitate the efficient and timely turnaround for both rearing and lay facilities during the downtime between flocks.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and verify all activities from the beginning of the move/depletion process through the disinfect/shavings process.
