This position is a grant-funded role, with a total FTE of 1.0, split between:

Under the direction of the school principal and the director of the Division of Title I and Early Childhood Programs and Services, the teacher plans and provides instruction aimed at strengthening and extending the school system’s focus on rigorous and challenging instruction. Primary talent development coaches support students demonstrating potential, monitor and evaluate student outcomes, communicate with students, parents, staff, and community, and develop or modify instructional plans to meet diverse needs. Responsibilities also include maintaining records, following procedures, and ensuring proper use of equipment and facilities.

Attendance at school meetings, programs, and activities outside instructional hours as mandated by the MCEA agreement is required.
Bachelor's degree in an applicable field of education from an accredited college or university. Meets Maryland state certification requirements in the appropriate field of education.
