The purpose of a Missions and Service coordinator is to assist with the logistics, planning, and support of service projects and mission trips. Missions and Service Coordinators ensure that each team is working on preparation, team dynamics, and fundraising for trips. They help ensure that there are appropriate service opportunities for Spiritual Life Credits (SLC) and build partnerships with other organizations.
Responsibilities include:
Must currently be enrolled as a student at Friends University.
Organization: Ability to manage logistics, schedules and resources efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
Communication: Clear and effective communication skills to interact with students, faculty, and staff.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure that all aspects of events are properly prepared and executed.
Teamwork: Collaborative mindset to work effectively with other coordinators, volunteers, and staff members to achieve common goals.
Flexibility: Adaptability to handle unexpected situations or last-minute changes with grace and composure.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact warmly and respectfully with diverse individuals and demonstrate empathy and compassion towards others.
