Description

The purpose of a Missions and Service coordinator is to assist with the logistics, planning, and support of service projects and mission trips. Missions and Service Coordinators ensure that each team is working on preparation, team dynamics, and fundraising for trips. They help ensure that there are appropriate service opportunities for Spiritual Life Credits (SLC) and build partnerships with other organizations.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Track SLC attendance.
  2. Assist with long-term tracking of SLC standing for students.
  3. Coordinate SLC opportunities.
  4. Create and manage QR codes and text codes for attendance tracking.
  5. Ensure SLC tracking readiness with chapel team.
  6. Regularly communicate with students via email and social media.
Qualifications

Must currently be enrolled as a student at Friends University.

Organization: Ability to manage logistics, schedules and resources efficiently to ensure smooth operations.

Communication: Clear and effective communication skills to interact with students, faculty, and staff.

Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure that all aspects of events are properly prepared and executed.
